Recently, The Charter Cable Company signed a deal with Madison Fox Affiliate which would allow it to broadcast Channel 47 (WMSN) in High Definition Television (HDTV). HDTV enthusiasts in Madison, Wisconsin are jumping for joy. Prior to this deal, Charter Cable Company was broadcasting WMSN in analog format.
What is all the hoopla about? Is HDTV really such a big deal and can you really see a difference? Actually there is a difference. HDTV has some features that are not found in conventional television.
